A nine-year old boy was a hero this week when he saved his sister from drowning in the family’s swimming pool in Seminole, Florida.  Read the full story here.  This story shows how dangerous pools can be.  Often young children drown in swimming pools due to a homeowner’s negligence in not having a gate around the pool or leaving a pool door unlocked.  When young children fall in pools, the result are tragic as being under water for even a few minutes can cause brain damage.
