New Federal Law To Minimize Danger of Pool Drains

Pool drains can be very dangerous, especially for youngsters. Every year children drown as they get trapped at the bottom of spas or swimming pools due to the suction of the drains. A Federal law passed in December 2008 now requires public pools to change drain covers in order to fix this problem and avoid more drownings.
