Motorcyclist Killed In US-301 Crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday night, and his passenger seriously injured. The accident occurred as a vehicle turning from US-301 to get onto I-75 collided with the motorcycle. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the car stopped at the yield sign, but still got into the way of the motorcycle, killing its driver on the scene and injuring his passenger.

75 year-old Pedestrian Killed

The crash in which a pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning in Holiday still remains under investigation. The 75 year-old woman killed in the accident was walking across US 19 when a vehicle traveling north struck her, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Person Injured After Crashing Into Power Pole

A driver was injured early Saturday morning after crashing into a power pole in St Petersburg. The police suspects the person was driving his vehicle at a high speed. The vehicle must have swerved off the road and hit the curb before landing onto the sidewalk and crashing into a power pole. The driver, who was not identified, was ejected from the vehicle.
